HELENA BRAUN used her history degree to launch into television, initially researching historical programmes such as Leviathan and Millennium for BBC2. Since then she has worked across a diverse range of output, ranging from documentaries and studio discussions to a quiz show, and including several long stints at Radio 4, where she worked primarily on Start the Week and In Our Time.

In recent years for TAKEAWAY Helena has produced Motherland Moving On, UK Confidential - Secrets of ’74 and the first two episodes of London Calling, as well as working on both series of Balderdash & Piffle.
